Honda has officially launched the all-new CB125 Hornet in India. The bike is priced at Rs 1.12 lakh, making it one of the most expensive 125cc segment motorcycles from Honda. This new CB Hornet is just not like other CB models in the Honda lineup; it’s a bold move by the brand to expand its portfolio for new young riders and urban cruisers.

The next-gen CB 125 Hornet steps in as a premium yet practical commuting bike that is tailored for customers who are looking for a powerful two-wheeler that still delivers perfect mileage. Here’s everything you need to know about the all-new Honda CB125 Hornet.

Hornet CB125 Hornet: Design and Dimension

The bike design borrows from its larger siblings. The front fascia of the motorcycle offers compact twin-signature LED headlamps and a muscular tank with a key-positioned ignition within the tank contour. This feature adds both convenience and a premium big bike appeal. While looking at the rear, a stylish muffler is added to give a funkier look, built to turn heads and boost performance.

Retains the same powertrain as the SP 125

Under the steel frame chassis, the bike is powered by a 123.94 cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 10.99 HP of power and 11.2 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is coupled with a 5-speed transmission. With this configuration setup, the bike covers 0 to 60 km in just 5.4 seconds. The top speed of the bike is estimated to be about 110 kmph.

Features and Comfort

The all-new Honda CB125 Hornet offers a dozen upgraded features, such as

  • 4.2-inch TFT Display
  • Bluetooth Connectivity
  • Honda RoadSync
  • Silent Start with ACG
  • Engine Stop Switch
  • PGMI-Fuel Injection System
  • 17-inch sporty alloy wheels
  • Single-Channel ABS
  • Golden USD Front Forks
  • Monoshock Rear Suspension
  • USB-C Charging

Pricing and Colors

The Honda CB125 Hornet will be available as a single variant. For the 2025 edition, the bike is priced at Rs 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The brand offers 4 distinct colors for Indian customers, such as Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Shine Blue with Sport Red, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic.

CarBike360 Says

Honda’s CB 125 Hornet feels like a breath of fresh air in the 125cc bike segment in India. This bike is for those urban commuters who are craving a machine that’s more about presence and personality than practicality and reliability. Customers can rely on Honda's dedication to future aspects with its 10-year warranty exchange.
