BMW Motorrad India has showcased the first teaser of the upcoming 2025 BMW G 310 RR. This new teaser gives bike enthusiasts a short glance at what’s next we can expect from the entity-level supersport bike. In the recently launched teaser, the brand shows the rear profile of the bike along with the suffix "RR" represented in the background. The 2025 iteration of the bike is signaling to receive a few subtle design updates ahead of the festive season.
The 2025 BMW G 310 RR promises to blend refreshed design cues with advanced features, maintaining its appeal as BMW's most affordable performance motorcycle in India. While showcasing the rear profile of the motorcycle, we can see the addition of new decals and revamped integrated turn indicators. Let’s check out the possible specs and insights of the upcoming G 310 RR for the Indian people.
The upcoming BMW G 310 RR will be constructed on its predecessor’s similar silhouette. From the teaser, while seeing the rear design of the bike, we can demonstrate that the front fascia of the bike must have a fairing wrapped with new decals. The rear image suggests that the bike will have a split seat layout. The front of the motorcycle might possess an LED lighting setup with integrated DRLs. However, under the trellis frame, the bike shares most underpinnings with the TVS Apache RR 310.
The teaser reveals a few subtle cosmetic tweaks and also hints at the introduction of new aerodynamics advancements like winglets aimed at elevated high-speed stability. Many bike enthusiasts can expect the motorcycle to retain its aggressive styling and track-forward riding stance with refined technology. The overall impression of the motorcycle will be inspired by the BMW S 1000 RR.

The bike will have subtle exterior changes in the design language. However, the brand might give a host of enriched features to compete with its rivals on Indian roads. However, the teaser did not disclose anything about the features. Yet, we can assume that the bike is expected to introduce a next-gen race computer, enhanced launch control, and cornering drag torque control with sequential turn indicators.
The inclusion of a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) marks a thoughtful addition for real-time tyre health monitoring. With modern race technology, riders can also expect selectable riding modes such as Track, Sport, Urban, and Rain. A fully digital instrument cluster will likely provide comprehensive ride data and facilitate mode switching seamlessly.

The 2025 edition of the BMW G310 RR will have no upgrades in the powertrain unit. The motorcycle will be powered by its proven 312 cc water-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine is precise in power output and capable of generating around 34 HP of power with 273 Nm of peak torque. The updated version is expected to approach the power figures of the Apache RR 310.
The engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox that continues to channel power efficiently to the rear wheel. Furthermore, the bike will be complemented by an upside-down front fork and a dual-sided swingarm at the rear. The bike will be equipped with the same tyre profile as for the Apache RR 310 with dual-channel ABS.
With the discontinuation of the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS in early 2025, the G 310 RR stands as BMW Motorrad's most accessible motorcycle in India. This bike is now the only option available in the entry-level supersport bike segment in India. With new updates, the bike will target young enthusiasts and entry-level sportbike buyers.
The upcoming BMW G310 RR stands as the updated version to excite the Indian motorcycling community with its attractive blend of design refinement, technology upgrades, and enhanced power. This bike will make it a compelling choice for those seeking a premium supersport experience at an accessible price point. With the introduction of the new GST tax reforms, the bike might be priced competitively against its rivals.
