New Toyota Innova Hybrid Leaked Details

According to the report, the majority of the features will be available in the high-end (Q) variant with a hybrid engine; however, a handful will also be available in the medium V variant. Moreover, the captain seats in the second row can be electrically modified. The captain seats also offer an ottoman function, something we've seen in high-end MPVs like the Toyota Voxy and the Kia Carnival. The new Innova Hybrid also has a panoramic sunroof, which the current model does not have.
The 2019 Toyota Innova Hybrid will include a motorized tailgate, multi-color ambient lighting, an LED lighting system, a 360-degree camera, and a soft-touch dashboard and interior panels. Toyota Safety Sense, which includes technologies such as Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Automatic High Beam, will be standard on the MPV.
According to reports, the Indonesian-spec vehicle would be known as the new Innova Zenix. The India-spec variant will be known as the new Innova HyCross, which will be similar to the new Urban Cruiser Hyryder (Hy refers to Hybrid). Instead of the current ladder-frame chassis and RWD layout, the new-generation Innova will be built on a new monocoque platform with front-wheel drive. It will feature a wheelbase of 2860mm, which is 100mm longer than the present model.
The hybrid powertrain configuration of the new Innova will contain a gasoline engine, an electric motor, and an electric battery. The MPV will most likely be equipped with a 2.0L petrol hybrid or a 1.8L hybrid system. The manufacturer might employ a localized version of the THS II (Toyota Hybrid System II), which features a twin-motor configuration for high 'step-off' torque and fuel efficiency.
