Triumph Motorcycles, in partnership with Bajaj Auto, launched the Tracker 400 in India on April 6. The motorcycle is priced at ₹2,46,225 ex-showroom Delhi. It features a flat track-inspired design and a TR-Series 350cc engine that produces 40PS at 8,750rpm. The Tracker 400 is now the sixth model in Triumph's India lineup.

Tracker 400 Features and Specifications
The Speed Tracker 400 draws its styling from oval dirt track racing. It includes flat, wide handlebars, repositioned footpegs, a boxy fuel tank, seat cowl, fly screen, number board, and dual-spoke wheels. The wheels are fitted with MRF REVZ FD1 tyres. Buyers can choose from three colour options: Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss.
The motorcycle uses a dedicated chassis with 43mm upside-down big piston forks at the front, offering 140mm of travel. The rear features a gas monoshock RSU with 140mm travel and preload adjustment. Braking is managed by four-piston radial calipers. The electronics package includes switchable traction control, ABS, and a torque-assist clutch. The instrument cluster combines a single-dial analog speedometer with a digital tachometer. The seat height is 805mm.
Market Position and Expansion
Manik Nangia, President of Probiking at Bajaj Auto, stated that models like the Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and Thruxton have found strong acceptance in India. The Tracker 400 aims to expand Triumph's appeal, especially among younger riders, by offering more choices and a sportier ride.
Triumph entered the Indian market in 2023 through its partnership with Bajaj Auto. The brand now operates over 230 stores in more than 200 towns across the country. The new 350cc engine range falls under the 18% GST bracket, reducing the entry price to ₹1.95 lakh ex-showroom.
