Triumph based this unique machine on the Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Limited Edition, but it features exclusive materials, styling changes, and authentication details that set it apart from the standard model.

Exclusive Features and Design
The DGR Edition stands out with a Harris Tweed bullet seat. Triumph confirms that this seat uses authenticated hand-woven fabric from the Outer Hebrides. The motorcycle also displays a unique 15 Years of Dapper anniversary graphic and a special number board. Each unit comes with a certificate of authenticity, making it highly collectible.
The paint scheme combines Competition Green and Aluminium Silver on the bodywork. The Aluminium Silver wheels and a colour-matched Competition Green headlight bowl further enhance its visual appeal. These elements contribute to the motorcycle’s distinct appearance among Triumph’s lineup.
Performance and Technical Details
The Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition features fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks. At the rear, Ohlins twin suspension units with external reservoirs provide improved handling. For braking, Triumph equips the bike with twin 320mm front discs and Brembo Stylema radial callipers. A Brembo MCS lever and Optimised Cornering ABS add to the safety and performance of the braking system.
The motorcycle comes fitted with Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres as standard. These tyres are known for their grip and performance, supporting the cafe racer’s sporty character.
Engine and Power Output
The DGR Edition uses Triumph’s Bonneville 1200 parallel-twin engine. This engine produces 103.5bhp and 112Nm of torque. The rev limit is set at 8,000rpm. A 270-degree firing order gives the bike immediate throttle response, enhancing its cafe racer appeal.
This unique edition combines classic design elements with modern engineering. Its exclusive features and limited availability make it a notable collector’s item for enthusiasts and participants in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.
