VinFast Auto India has opened its 50th retail outlet, a flagship 3S dealership on Hosur Road in Bengaluru's Electronic City. This move marks a significant step in the company's rapid expansion across India. VinFast aims to reach 75 dealerships in over 60 cities by the end of 2026.
Key Highlights
- VinFast opens its 50th dealership in Bengaluru's Electronic City on Hosur Road
- Company targets 75 outlets across more than 60 Indian cities by end of 2026
- VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs both hold 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings
- Customers receive free charging on V-Green network until March 31 2029
- Value Assured programme and 3 percent discount for switching from petrol vehicles
Dealership Expansion and Facilities
The new 3S facility, operated by PPS Motors LLP under Raaj Sekar, spans 11,500 square feet. It combines showroom, service, and spare parts areas under one roof, with a 2,500 square foot showroom at its core. VinFast designed the outlet to meet its global retail standards, focusing on an immersive customer experience throughout sales and after-sales processes.
Bengaluru was chosen for its large population of technology professionals and early adopters of electric vehicles. Electronic City, the location of the new outlet, is a major technology corridor and a key market for EVs in India.
Product Line and Customer Initiatives
VinFast currently offers two electric SUV models in India, the VF 6 and VF 7. Both models have achieved 5-star ratings under the Bharat NCAP safety assessment, meeting India-specific crash test standards. The vehicles come with roadside assistance, three years of free maintenance, and warranties of up to ten years or 200,000 kilometres, depending on the variant.
To support EV adoption, VinFast has introduced several customer-focused programmes. The Value Assured programme guarantees a predetermined resale value after a set period, addressing concerns about depreciation. Customers also receive free charging on the V-Green network until March 31, 2029, providing up to three years of zero fuel cost. Additionally, the "Trade Gas for Electric" initiative from parent company Vingroup offers a 3% discount to customers switching from internal combustion vehicles, valid until March 31, 2026.
Broader Strategy and Market Presence
VinFast is developing a comprehensive EV ecosystem in India, including manufacturing, retail, charging infrastructure, after-sales services, and a circular battery value chain. The company is collaborating with banks and partners to support this infrastructure, aiming to make EV ownership more accessible and seamless.
VinFast is a subsidiary of Vingroup JSC, one of Vietnam's largest conglomerates. The company focuses on electric vehicles, with a portfolio that includes passenger SUVs, motorcycles, bicycles, and buses. Globally, VinFast is expanding its dealer and distribution network, with efforts in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
