VinFast to Import VF-e34 to India, Launch by Late 2024

The VinFast VF e34 is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) manufactured by VinFast, a subsidiary of the Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup. It was first introduced in 2021 and is notable for being the first electric vehicle to be manufactured and sold in Vietnam. The company plans to import two key EV model the VF-e34, in the latter half of 2024. This move aims to establish VinFast's presence ahead of local production in Tamil Nadu, expected to commence in 2025.

It is equipped with a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a claimed range of 300 km (186 miles) under ideal conditions and 285 km (177 miles) according to the NEDC standard. The vehicle supports 250 kW DC fast charging and 7.4 kW AC charging, allowing for flexible and convenient charging options.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): The VF e34 is equipped with a range of ADAS features, including lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and a 360-degree surveillance system.
