Mechanically, there are two 0.8-liter and 1.0-liter petrol engine options for the Redigo. The former can generate 54 horsepower at 5,600 revolutions per minute and 72 Nm at 4,250, while the latter can generate 67 horsepower at 5,500 and 91 Nm at 4,250. Standard is a five-speed manual transmission; only the 1.0-liter version is available with an automatic transmission (AMT).

The fascia of the Redigo is now larger than that of its predecessor, which had a sizable mesh grille with chrome surrounds. The fascia is further highlighted by the vertical L-shaped LED DRLs with circular fog lamps. As opposed to the silver finish on the earlier model, the bash plate is now completed in black. Except for the new wheel-cover design, there are no alterations to the profile. The vehicle has new LED trademark tail lamps in the back.

The latest model has a more contemporary layout as compared to its predecessor. The vehicle has an infotainment touchscreen system in the middle of the dashboard, with the air vents above it and the air conditioning controls below. A contrasting silver-finished insert provides the dashboard a modern, fashionable look. The new Redigo comes with an eight-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rearview camera, a detachable parcel tray, and internal ORVM adjustment, among other things. The car has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking sensor for your protection.
