Honda City 4th Generation Highlights
Honda City is the beloved car among the enthusiasts. It has been the best seller in its segment too and has tightly slapped its rivals including Maruti CIaz, Toyota Yaris, Hyundai Accent, VW Vento and Skoda Rapid. It was the first car for India from Japanese vehicle manufacturer’s house.
The latest generation Honda City was introduced in the mid of 2020 and instantly became popular. However, the company knew that its last generation model has a huge fan following and decided to continue selling it alongside the new one. This strategy has fetched them good sales too.
The 4th gen Honda City comes with a good range of features and specifications. In terms of exterior, the car gets a bold front stance. It has a set of dual barrel halogen headlamps that get integrated LED DRLs. The grille has a good height to it and looks bold. The diamond cut alloy wheels look fabulous and add a good amount of weight to the car’s design. At the rear, the tail lamps are made up of clear lens plastics that house halogen lamps. While the car belongs to the last generation, it carries a ot of modern elements like the shark fin antenna.
Inside the car, as usual, Honda has produced a class. Every single bit of the interior is a sheer comfort zone. The front seats are comfortable enough to gallop in the passenger easily and you can easily take the car for a long highway ride. Not just this, the rear seat is a great fit for 2 passengers and gets loads of leg room. The driver’s seat gets adjustment for height and reach. For entertainment purposes, there is a smart infotainment system. The vehicle also gets push button start and automatic climate control system.
The 1.5-litre iVTEC petrol engine is a sheer gem to drive. The main reason for defeating its rivals is the perfect balance of performance, ride and safety features available in the 4th gen Honda City. Despite being a naturally aspirated engine, the engine is quite frugal and rev happy. It’s a delight to drive within city limits as well due to perfect weight and travel of clutch and other responsive dynamics.
