A 39.2 KWh battery pack that powers the Kona EV is said to give it a 452 km range (ARAI certified). A conventional AC charger can charge the Kona to 100% in 6 hours and 10 minutes, while a 100 kW DC fast charger can charge the battery to 80% in just 57 minutes. This battery pack generates 395 Nm of torque and 136 PS of power. These numbers allow the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds. By using the electric motor to slow down the vehicle, the regenerative braking system aids the user in charging the battery.

The new Hyundai Kona EV has dynamic roof rails, integrated rear spoiler, LED DRLs, cornering lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. You really couldn't say it's different from any other compact SUV unless you can see the distinctive grille.

All-black interiors, leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an electric sunroof, cruise control, and an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and voice recognition are included in the model.
