Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan Highlights
Luxury sedan known for its affordable and price benefit that it offers to its customers. It’s a new A Class Limousine with MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) draws inspiration from our childhood dreams and presents a completely new design. It was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, and the market launch was expected to follow soon after, but then the Coronavirus struck. After a long delay, Mercedes’ A-class plan is back on the table. Its uniqueness is the culmination of AMG 35 version with 306hp with the first launch. The standard petrol and diesel versions to follow later. A class sedan is priced at around Rs 40 lakh for the basic model. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine offers three different variants i.e. A200 (Petrol), A200d (Diesel) and A35 4Matic (AMG Line, Petrol) with some or the other uniqueness in each of them. It is available in various paint options like Polar White, Mojave Silver, Mountain Grey, Cosmos Black, Denim Blue and Iridium Silver. It has the design inspiration of E-Class and the S-Class sedans. Fulfilling the functionality of turn signals, it receives adaptive LED headlights with L-shaped DRLs. The car has a large electric sunroof with a rain-sensing function for auto-close for safety purpose. The A200 and A200d are armed with 17-inch alloy wheels. The interiors are very much similar to Mercedes-Benz models. It features dual 10.25-inch screens. A touchscreen infotainment system gets the MBUX system with navigation purpose. Some of the additional features include two-zone climate control, four USB-C ports and a wireless charging pad and leather upholstery for seats to give a classy appeal. The A200 and A200d have a round-shaped steering wheel and a completely beige looking interior. The A-Class is given a 1.3-litre inline four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine coupled with a seven-speed DCT; 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder diesel mated with an-eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. This Mercedes-Benz sedan competes with other German brand cars like the new Audi A3 saloon (NOT LAUNCHED YET) and the BMW 2 series Gran Coupé.
