The most modest Harley-Davidson ever!- Launched in India

The Harley-Davidson X440, the most budget-friendly bike from the brand, has made its debut in India today with a starting price of Rs 2,29,000 (ex-showroom) and above. The bike’s design was unveiled earlier in May.

Design and features

The Harley-Davidson X440 has a round LED headlight, a single-pod dashboard, a drop-shaped fuel tank, and a one-piece saddle. The bike has a flat bar, front-seat pegs, and a side-mounted muffler.

The bike is available in three variants with different colors and rims. The base model comes in solid colors and wire-spoke rims, while the mid-level model has dual-tone paint and alloy rims. The top-level model of the X440 has diamond-cut alloys and Bluetooth with navigation.

Engine and performance:

The X440 runs on a 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that makes 27 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. It has a chain final drive like Pan America.

Suspension and brakes

The X440 has a tubular frame and upside-down forks in the front and twin shocks in the back. The bike has alloy rims with 18 inches in the front and 17 inches in the back. It has disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
