Key Highlights

  • Hyundai discontinued several Creta variants including SX Tech and SX O
  • Prices increased by up to Rs 1.20 lakh across select Creta variants
  • Creta lineup now includes seven variants with top-end King offering ADAS features
  • Creta Summer Edition remains available across multiple trims
  • Benefits of up to Rs 1.05 lakh offered depending on variant and location

Discontinued Variants and Special Editions

The updated Creta lineup no longer includes the S Petrol and Diesel Manual, E Diesel Manual, S(O) Knight Edition, and all versions of the SX Tech and SX(O). Hyundai has also discontinued several special editions, such as the King Limited 1.5 petrol CVT, King 1.5 Turbo DCT, King Limited 1.5 Turbo DCT, and King Knight Diesel Automatic. These changes reduce the number of available variants and remove some unique features previously offered in special editions.

The Creta is now available in seven variants: E, EX, EX(O), S(O), SX, SX Premium, and the top-end King. The removal of the SX Tech variant has affected the accessibility of certain features, especially advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Customers seeking ADAS must now choose the King variant, which raises the entry cost for these features.

Price Adjustments and Ongoing Offers

Following the update, the Creta's ex-showroom prices start at Rs. 10.79 lakh and go up to Rs. 19.87 lakh for the highest variant, depending on the configuration. The recent changes mean that some variants have seen price increases of up to Rs. 1.20 lakh. Despite the variant reduction, the Creta Summer Edition, launched last month, remains available across multiple trims.

Hyundai is currently offering benefits of up to Rs. 1.05 lakh on the Creta. These offers depend on the specific variant, local stock availability, and location. Customers are advised to check with dealerships for the latest offers and variant details.
