New 350cc Engine Launched for Bajaj Dominar in India: Key Changes Explained
Bajaj has launched the updated Dominar in India with a new 349.13cc engine, reducing power and torque slightly. The design, features, and price remain unchanged, maintaining its position in the market.

Bajaj has launched the updated Dominar in India, now featuring a downsized 350cc engine. This change affects the motorcycle's performance, with a slight reduction in power and torque. The new model replaces the previous 373cc engine with a 349.13cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. The updated engine produces 40bhp at 9,000rpm and 33.2Nm at 7,500rpm, which is a decrease of 2.4bhp and 1.8Nm compared to the earlier version.
Key Highlights
- Bajaj Dominar now features a downsized 349.13cc engine in India
- Power output is 40bhp at 9000rpm and torque is 33.2Nm at 7500rpm
- Design and features remain the same as previous model
- Available in four colour options with unchanged price at Rs 1.93 lakh ex showroom
Engine and Performance Updates

The downsizing from 373cc to 349.13cc was achieved by reducing the engine's stroke length from 60mm to 56.1mm, while retaining the bore size at 89mm. This adjustment results in slightly lower performance figures. However, the current power output matches the original specification of the Dominar before the 2025 update. The changes are limited to the engine, with no significant updates to other mechanical components.
Design and Features
The updated Dominar maintains the same design as the previous model. It is available in four colour options: Brooklyn Black, Pewter Grey, Pearl Metallic White, and Glossy Racing Red. The motorcycle is built on a perimeter frame and uses an inverted fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear for suspension. Both wheels are 17-inch alloys, with braking handled by a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc.
Key features include Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, as well as turn-by-turn navigation. The bike also offers four riding modes, a quickshifter, and a traction control system. These features enhance the riding experience and safety, while the visual appearance remains unchanged.
Pricing and Availability
The price of the updated Dominar remains unchanged at Rs. 1.93 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle continues to offer a competitive set of features and performance for its price segment in the Indian market.
