The facility includes a service workshop equipped with maintenance tools and trained technicians to support after-sales service. SMIPL's total retail network now stands at 1,246 outlets nationwide, with 25 of those in Haryana. The Sirsa showroom offers SMIPL's complete domestic two-wheeler lineup. On the scooter side, the range includes the Access, Avenis, Burgman Street, and the e-ACCESS, which is the company's first electric scooter. The motorcycle selection features the Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, and the V-Strom SX. Test rides are available for all models, including the latest Access variants equipped with ABS.
Customers visiting the new dealership can participate in engagement programs such as Suzuki MotoFest, the Access Mileage Contest, V-Strom Experience rides, and Gixxer Pitstop events. These initiatives aim to strengthen customer relationships and provide additional value beyond sales and service.
Company Background and Market Strategy
SMIPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan. The company began its India operations in February 2006 from its manufacturing plant in Kherki Daula, Gurugram, Haryana. SMIPL manufactures scooters in the 125cc segment, electric scooters, premium motorcycles in the 150cc-and-above category, and large-displacement bikes tailored for the Indian market.
The Sirsa dealership is part of a gradual expansion into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, where demand for two-wheelers remains steady. SMIPL delivered 1,280 electric vehicles during the year, a 32% increase from 972 units in FY25. The company plans to enforce a 70% domestic component baseline for future models and is preparing for further investment in production capacity.
