2023 Kia Seltos Launched: Check Out the Prices & Features

The updated 2023 Kia Seltos has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 10.90 lakh Rs. 20 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). In addition to the new look, the updated Seltos is now equipped with a host of quality features, smarter hardware and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

But the South Korean automaker has very aggressively managed the price of the compact SUV. In fact, compared to the upcoming Seltos, the price of the base variant remains the same while the premium variant is discounted by Rs. 34,000 more expensive than before.

Kia Seltos 2023 Variants

2023 Kia Seltos will be offered in three main equipment: TechLine, GTLine and XLine. Under TechLine you have five variants - HTE, HTK, HTK + HTX and HTX +, under GTLine you have one - GTX + variant, and finally, you have the top spec XLine hardware.

Exterior Design

The lamp also features new star model LED DRLs and LED indicator array. While the SUV still has ice cube LED fog lights, the bumper has also been redesigned. The TechLine finish features faux silver skid plates, while the GTLine gains a more visual appearance with body color inserts.

SUV is now available with TechLine finishes with 17-inch wheels and GTLine and XLine models with larger 18-inch wheels, as well as 4 different wheel designs depending on your choice. At the rear, all versions now feature a muscular rear bumper alongside star-patterned LED taillights. GTX+ hardware also includes dual exhausts.

Features & Technology

Higher models get additional features such as a 360-degree view camera, auto-grip electric brakes and rain-sensing wipers.But more importantly, the new Seltos now comes with 17 automatic drivers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems or ADAS.

ADAS features include: forward collision warning/avoidance assist, lane departure warning and lane assist, cruise control, blind spot monitoring and forward collision warning with collision avoidance and collision avoidance assist.

Engine & Transmission

Kia ​​has three engine and five transmission options for the new Seltos. Engine options include a 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque, a 6-speed manual transmission and optional IVT or Intelligent Variable Transmission.

It is now paired with a 6-speed IMT or a 6-speed automatic torque converter unit. The SUV will continue to compete with the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq in the compact SUV segment.
