Kia Seltos gets first price hike Since launch, Nnw starts at Rs 10.99 lakh
Kia has revised the pricing of the Seltos for the first time since its launch, with the SUV now starting at Rs 10.99 lakh. The update reflects changing market dynamics while the feature-rich offering remains unchanged.

Kia India has increased prices for select variants of the Seltos SUV. This marks the first price hike since the launch of the current generation. The top-spec Seltos now costs Rs. 20.19 lakh, ex-showroom. The price increase ranges up to Rs. 2,900, depending on the variant.
Key Highlights
- The Kia Seltos price increased by up to Rs 2900 across select variants.
- The top-spec Seltos is now priced at Rs 2,019,000 ex-showroom.
- Entry-level Seltos starts at Rs 1099000 after the price revision.
- No change in features or engine options for the Seltos lineup.
Details of Price Revision
The HTK (O) Turbo iMT, GTX (A) Turbo DCT, X Line (A) Petrol CVT, and HTE 1.5 Petrol Manual variants have each seen a price rise of Rs. 900. Most other variants have received a higher increase of up to Rs. 2,900. However, the GTX 1.5 CVT, GTX Turbo DCT, GTX (A) 1.5 CVT, and GTX (A) Turbo DCT variants remain unchanged in price.
After this revision, the Seltos range starts at Rs. 10.99 lakh and extends to Rs. 20.19 lakh, ex-showroom. The increase, though modest, could influence buyer decisions in a competitive segment where pricing is closely monitored.
Engine Options and Features
The Kia Seltos continues to offer three engine choices. These include a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The feature list remains unchanged despite the price revision.
Key features include a powered driver seat, cooled front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a Bose stereo system, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These features are available across various trims, depending on the variant selected.
Market Position and Competition
The Seltos competes in a segment where pricing plays a significant role in buyer choices. The price increase, though not large, positions the Seltos slightly higher among its rivals. The SUV continues to attract buyers with its engine options and comprehensive feature list.
