The majority of the stylistic cues from the 2021 Kia Sonet have been carried over to the 2022 model. Seven monochromatic colour choices are offered for the revised model: Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Clear White, Imperial Blue (new), and Sparkling Silver (new). The car is also offered in Interest Red with Aurora Black Pearl and Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl, two dual-tone colour combinations.
This small SUV now has a new Sonet logo across all variations and a Kia Connect logo in a few variants, HTX+ and GTX+, for added freshness.

The Sonet now boasts 4.2-inch color instrumentation and semi-leatherette seats with white stitching, depending on the model. Now, side airbags, Highline TPMS, and a rear seatback folding knob are included in the list of standard features. The majority of the other interior style components from the previous model have been kept. A few Sonet models also come with curtain airbags, ESC, VSM, BA, and HAC.

The mileage of the Kia Sonet is amazing for an Indian client like me—about 18km/l. I was pleasantly surprised to find how far I could go on one tank following a recent road trip. It is budget-friendly since the upkeep expenses are reasonable. For my family, the journey was pleasant thanks in part to the cosy seats and roominess. It seems luxury without breaking the budget with elements like a touchscreen and sunroof!
The Kia Sonet is a great compact SUV for those who want something small yet powerful. After driving 9,000 km, I’m quite happy with its 18 km/l mileage. The interiors are modern and well-designed, offering great comfort with a tech-savvy infotainment system. The compact size makes it easy to maneuver, yet it still feels spacious inside. It’s an ideal choice for those who want a small SUV that’s feature-packed and efficient.
