Get ready for the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 launch! Learn about the latest design updates, equipment enhancements, engine specifications, and pricing.
TVS Motor, India's third-largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is gearing up to launch the new 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 on 22nd August. As the top-selling TVS scooter and the second-best-selling scooter in the country, the Jupiter has a lot riding on this update. Recently, the company introduced new color options with the 2024 Ntorq 125, and now all eyes are on the latest iteration of the Jupiter.
The TVS Jupiter has long been favored for its elegant styling and suitability for everyday commutes. The 2024 model is expected to maintain this appeal with a few noteworthy updates. While the overall design will stay true to its classic roots, there will be enhancements to the front, side, and rear of the scooter.
One of the most significant changes is the updated front fascia, featuring new lighting elements. Teasers have revealed a horizontally positioned DRL that spans nearly the full width of the front apron, reminiscent of the TVS iQube. This design aims to strike a balance between traditional and contemporary aesthetics, appealing to both existing fans and a new generation of riders.
Flanking the new DRL are turn indicators, contributing to a more attractive and commanding road presence. Additional updates are anticipated on the sides and tail section, including new graphics, tweaks to the body paneling, and potentially new color options.
The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 could see LED lights becoming standard across more variants. The current lineup includes the base variant, SMW, ZX, Jupiter Classic, ZX Disc SmartXonnect, and ZX Drum SmartXonnect. A new digital display with Bluetooth connectivity is also a possibility, with top variants potentially offering turn-by-turn navigation.
Other features could include an external fuel filler cap, a mobile phone charger, and possibly a larger boot space similar to the one found in the TVS Jupiter 125. This enhanced storage would allow the boot to accommodate two helmets, improving the scooter's practicality. The larger boot space in the Jupiter 125 is made possible by relocating the fuel tank to the floorboard, a feature that could carry over to the new Jupiter 110.
The new TVS Jupiter 110 is expected to retain the same engine as the current model: a 109.7 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, CVTi fuel injection unit that produces 7.88 PS and 8.80 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. The braking system for the top variant will include a 220 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. The Jupiter 110 will continue to ride on 12-inch wheels with 90/90 tubeless tires at both ends.
With the new updates, the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 is expected to be priced slightly higher than its predecessor, with the base variant likely starting around Rs 77,000. It will continue to compete with the top-selling Honda Activa, aiming to maintain its strong position in the Indian scooter market.
