Classic Legends has recently launched the 2025 iteration of its much-anticipated cruiser, the Yezdi Roadster. The brand has been backed by Mahindra and Mahindra, thus standing as a legend for motorcycle enthusiasts, bridging the soul of its classic predecessor with new technological advancements.
The 2025 edition brought some major iconic marques from its previous generation and was released in 2024. Let us dive into the differences between the 2024 Yezdi Roadster and the new 2025 iteration, which reveals an exhilarating evolution, priced at Rs 2.10 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
The 2024 Yezdi Roadster shows a resemblance to its classic design, showcasing a British hierarchy. The previous model was built with minor design aesthetic changes. The bike carries a muscular stance with a rugged, synonymous attitude. Its distinctive cruiser appearance was enhanced with chrome accents, which are visible on the exhaust and its vintage round headlights.
Forward to the 2025 edition, the Yezdi Roadster still carries a similar overall design. The recently launched Roadster shares a few subtle changes that seem to have evolved with the latest automotive trends. The front fascia now features round LED headlights that retain the classic shape but provide modern illumination. Yezdi has now added contemporary features like the choice of hydroformed or tubular handlebars and twin-rod crash with frame slider stands.
The old Yezdi Roadster's powertrain was a robust workhorse. A simple liquid-cooled engine that delivered respectable performance. Although it was the same 344 cc single-cylinder engine, which is shared with the Jawa Perak. It produces 29 HP of power with 29.40 Nm of peak torque. As the bike carries the 2023 iteration to 2024, we see a few additions, like the new gearbox, piston, and updated crankshaft.
In contrast, the new 2025 Roadster is powered by a revised but retuned 334 cc single-cylinder Alpha 2 engine that is encapsulated with the latest fuel-injection and DOHC technology. This engine produces a peak power of around 29.6 HP and torque of 29.9 Nm, paired with a smooth six-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch. This little improvement in the torque brings you better throttle response and increased efficiency.

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster is built under the same dual-cradle chassis as before. The 6-speed MT with modern assist and slipper clutch technology delivers smoother downshifts, a significant update from the older version. The chassis is supported by the updated telescopic fork and dual-shock absorber. However, while sitting on the bike, you may feel a little high, as the seat height has increased by 5 mm.

Both bikes offer the same features, but a few upgrades have been given to the color and variants for the 2025 edition. The 2024 and 2025 Yezdi Roadster have a digital instrument console. Furthermore, the brand offers 6 factory-fit custom kits to adjust your riding preferences. The 2025 Roadster is available in two variants such as the Standard and the Premium. The 2024 Yezdi Roadster has Dark and Chrome as a custom variant.
The 2025 Roadster Standard variant offers 4 colors: Sharkskin Blue, Smoke Grey, Bloodrush Maroon, and Savage Green. Moreover, the Premium variant comes in a single color scheme: blacked-out Shadow Black. However, the 2024 Roadster Dark version comes in Glacial White, Inferno Red, Smoke Grey, Hunter Green, Shadow Grey, and Steel Blue. While the Chrome version features the chrome accents in Gallant Grey and Sin Silver. Additionally, the 2024 Yezdi Roadster also has dual-tone color options, which are missing in the latest 2025 model.
The 2025 Yezdi Roadster is just an updated version of the 2024 Yezdi Roadster. A few subtle changes have been added to make it different from the old model. Both bikes are good in terms of design and performance. But if you have the old bike, don't go for the new model unless you have the cruiser spirit and want to ride the new model. However, as a first-time buyer, the new model blends with more power and precision, making it more versatile than its rivals, such as the RE 350, Honda CB 350, and Hunter 350.
