In 2025, Kawasaki India will launch the Ninja ZX-4RR, which would retail at ₹9.42 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison to the previous model, this represents a ₹82,000 price rise. The 2025 model year's most notable change is the addition of a new color scheme—lime green/ebony/blizzard white—which gives it a novel visual appeal. The bike is still imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) and has all of its original features and specs aside from the color change.
Hardware and Build
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR comes with advanced hardware designed for performance and handling:
- Front Suspension: 37 mm USD Showa SFF-BP front forks with preload adjustability.
- Rear Suspension: Preload-adjustable Showa BFRC Lite mono shock.
- Braking System: Dual 290 mm semi-floating discs at the front and a 220 mm single disc at the rear.
- Frame: A high-tensile steel trellis frame enhances rigidity and agility.
- Tyres: Equipped with a 120/70 section front tyre and a 160/60 section rear tyre, ensuring superior grip.
Engine and Performance
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is powered by a 399 cc in-line four-cylinder engine that is liquid-cooled. An amazing 76 horsepower at 14,500 rpm and 37.6 Nm of torque at 13,000 rpm are produced by this high-revving engine. Its ram air intake allows the power output to spike to about 80 horsepower, making for an exhilarating ride. For smooth gear changes, the engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and has a bi-directional quick shifter. With a modest curb weight of 189 kg, the motorbike can be handled with agility.
