On-Road Price Breakdown

The on-road price includes several components beyond the ex-showroom price. These components are registration fees, insurance, logistic charges, optional accessories, and documentation fees. The final on-road price varies by state and city due to differences in taxes and charges.
In Delhi, the Honda City SV MT has an on-road price of Rs 13.8 lakh. The top-end ZX CVT variant with the Pearl shade costs Rs 18.43 lakh on-road. This results in a price difference of Rs 4.63 lakh between the entry-level and top variants in Delhi.
In Chennai, the on-road price for the SV MT variant is Rs 14.77 lakh. The ZX Plus CVT variant is priced at Rs 19.80 lakh on-road, making the top variant Rs 5.02 lakh more expensive than the base model.
Bengaluru sees the SV MT at Rs 14.95 lakh on-road, while the ZX Plus CVT costs Rs 20.18 lakh. The gap between the lowest and highest variant is about Rs 5.23 lakh.
In Kolkata, the SV MT starts at Rs 13.24 lakh on-road, and the ZX Plus CVT reaches Rs 17.73 lakh. This marks a difference of Rs 4.49 lakh between the two variants.
Mumbai's on-road prices begin at Rs 14.40 lakh for the SV MT and go up to Rs 20.39 lakh for the ZX Plus CVT. Higher registration and insurance costs in Mumbai push the top variant above Rs 20 lakh.
Features and Powertrain Options

The 2026 Honda City offers a refreshed design and an updated feature list. Key features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital driver's display, automatic climate control, connected car technology, a sunroof, and an ADAS suite with multiple driver assistance features.
The sedan is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine delivers 121 PS and 145 Nm and can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. There is also a 1.5-liter strong hybrid petrol powertrain that produces up to 126 PS and 253 Nm, paired with an e-CVT gearbox.
The 2026 Honda City remains a strong contender in the midsize sedan segment. It competes with models such as the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia. Buyers can refer to detailed variant-wise feature breakdowns before making a purchase decision.
