2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Engine Upgrades

The liquid-cooled, DOHC 1,099 cc inline-four engine produces 136 HP of power and 113 Nm of peak torque, thanks to optimized internals for stronger low-to-mid pull. Longer top gears reduce rpm on highways, improving economy. This engine might offer a mileage of about 17-18 kmpl while RAM air boosts peak output. The 6-speed return-shift gearbox pairs with a wet multi-disc clutch for seamless shifts.
Chassis and Suspension Dynamics

A twin-tube aluminum frame ensures agile handling with a 24-degree rake and 98 mm trail, complemented by a 41 mm inverted fork and horizontal back-link rear shock with 141 mm travel, both adjustable. The bike also offers dual 300 mm front discs with radial-mount Brembo 4-piston calipers and a larger 260 mm rear disc, aided by cornering ABS.

A handlebar-mounted USB-C port enhances touring practicality, while weights in bars minimize vibration. Though the SE variant's Öhlins shock and heated grips are absent in India, the standard model's suite rivals premium tourers.
Pricing and Market Positioning
Priced at Rs 13.49 lakh ex-showroom, on-road figures hover around Rs 15.9-17 lakh in metros like Delhi and Bangalore. It undercuts rivals like the Triumph Tiger 900 GT (Rs 13.95 lakh) in the sports tourer segment, filling the void left by the discontinued 1000SX. Kawasaki's move refreshes its premium lineup amid growing demand for versatile superbikes in India.
Conclusion
The Kawasaki 1100SX has now been made more aggressive and offers all-new subtle performance compared to its predecessor. While looking at the design, the front fascia stays fresh without diluting its racing DNA charm, making it a compelling upgrade for enthusiasts who value character as much as performance.
