The EV India Expo being an eco-friendly event, is annually held in Kolkata, Hyderabad & Delhi. This year, the said event will be held in New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam on 20th to 22nd December aiming to offer comprehensive market information, great business opportunities and a platform for networking.

The EV India Expo 2024 provides many opportunities to showcase, witness and understand the latest trends in electric vehicles, components and services for convenience and environment friendly transportation of passengers and goods. The highly anticipated 21st EV Expo 2024 is set to begin with the 8th Catalyst Conference on December 19, spotlighting sustainability within the electric vehicle (EV) industry. Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, will officially inaugurate the conference, which aims to facilitate knowledge-sharing on critical topics such as policy frameworks, industry developments, technological advancements, and market-ready products.

On December 20th, the Expo will be inaugurated by Shri Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways and Corporate Affairs, alongside Shri Ajay Tamta, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, and Shri Daya Shankar Singh, MoS (Independent Charge) for Transport, Uttar Pradesh. This inauguration will bring together prominent stakeholders from across the EV ecosystem.

Marking a decade of groundbreaking achievements, the 21st EV Expo promises to deliver a vibrant platform for cutting-edge innovations, meaningful collaborations, and transformative technologies. With participation from around 200 exhibitors being both domestic and international, the Expo will showcase a diverse range of products and solutions designed to revolutionize the EV landscape. This event goes beyond being a mere exhibition, serving as a dynamic meeting point for entrepreneurs, startups, industry leaders, and EV enthusiasts, fostering conversations that will shape the future of sustainable mobility.

Highlighting the event’s significance, Mr. Rajiv Arora, Organiser of EV Expo 2024, remarked, “The EV Expo is not just an exhibition; it’s a hub for innovation and collaboration aimed at advancing eco-friendly transportation solutions. With the rising pollution levels in urban areas, the adoption of electric vehicles is no longer optional but essential. Featuring exciting new launches and state-of-the-art technologies, the Expo offers unparalleled opportunities for industry stakeholders.”

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Anuj Sharma, President of the Electric Vehicle Federation and former Chairman of the E-Rickshaw Committee, Government of India, stated, “We are expecting a robust presence of venture capitalists and investors at this year’s Expo. We’re actively working on facilitating connections between the EV business sector and funding sources, unlocking new growth opportunities for the industry. Additionally, we are thrilled to introduce groundbreaking advancements such as electric tractors and rural transport vehicles (RTVs), which will be unveiled by esteemed ministers during the event.”

The 21st EV Expo 2024 is supported by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), and the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), underlining the event’s national importance and industry-wide impact.
