The Z variants and the S variant with a 3.7 kWh battery pack have seen a Rs. 4,000 increase. The new ex-showroom prices apply to all units sold from June 2026 onward.
The 2.9 kWh battery variant delivers a true range of 105 km on a full charge. The 3.7 kWh battery variant offers a true range of 125 km. Both battery packs come with a five-year or 60,000 km warranty as standard. The batteries also have an IP67 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water.
Key Features and Performance
The Ather Rizta includes a comprehensive set of features across its variants. The Z variant is equipped with a seven-inch color TFT display, which supports Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. The S trim comes with a 'deepview' LCD display, similar to other Ather models.
The scooter offers two ride modes: Smart Eco (SE) and Zip. The claimed top speed for the Rizta is 80 km/h. Additional features include auto hold, reverse mode, and 'magic twist.' The 'magic twist' function allows riders to slow down the scooter using regenerative braking without applying the physical brakes.
Ather Energy has positioned the Rizta as a family-oriented electric scooter. The company cites rising production and material costs as the main reason for the latest price increase. Other electric vehicle manufacturers have also adjusted prices in response to similar cost pressures.
