The Citroen eC3 Live variant is now listed on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). It features 46 percent localisation in its manufacturing process. The variant is available for both private buyers and fleet operators. For fleet use, a speed governor restricts the car's top speed to 80kmph.

The eC3 Live comes with 195/65 R15 steel wheels, body-coloured outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs), app connectivity, and manually adjustable ORVMs. Other features include front power windows, a digital instrument cluster, a regeneration indicator, reverse parking sensors, anti-lock braking system (ABS), high-speed alert, and rear seats that fold completely flat.

Performance and Pricing Details

The Citroen eC3 uses a 57bhp motor that produces 143Nm of torque. It is powered by a 29.2kWh air-cooled lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The car accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 107kmph. The base-spec Live variant is Rs 2.6 lakh cheaper than the current entry-level Feel variant, making it attractive for commercial fleet operators.

The eC3 Live's competitive pricing and essential features are expected to increase its appeal in both private and commercial segments. Citroen is also planning updates for the Feel and Shine variants, aligning them with the internal combustion engine (ICE) C3X model.
