Ducati DesertX Rally Version Launched in India at Rs 23.7 Lakh

The Ducati DesertX Rally Version debuts in India at Rs 23.7 Lakh. Featuring premium Kayaba suspension, 48mm forks, high ground clearance, and shared electronics, it's set to dominate the adventure bike arena.

Ducati has launched the DesertX Rally in India. The bike will be offering a more adventure and off-road oriented version of the well-known DesertX. The bike is priced at Rs 23.7 lakh (ex-showroom), and will be available with several upgrades, offering something new and different from the standard variants.

Now Ducati will be available in two variants:

Upgrades in Ducati DesertX Rally Version

One of the most significant upgrades to look for is the suspension system introduced in DesertX Rally. The Rally version, manufactured by Kayaba, boasts premium suspension components. Featuring a 48mm closed cartridge forks with 250mm of travel, offering enhanced stability and control over various terrains.

Additionally, the rear shock featured in DesertX Rally is made to provide extended distance cover, along with high adjustability with high and low-speed compression damping. The overall enhancement of Rally version compared to standard includes, impressive ground clearance of 280mm, improving its off-road capabilities. Moreover, in this version of DesertX the bike has been raised to a saddle height of 910mm.

DesertX Rally has been featured with stronger spoked wheels with tubed tires, a high front fender, and a carbon fibre sump guard for better protection. The bike also comes equipped with adjustable brake and gear pedals. With a 21-litre size of fuel tank, adventurers can easily go on longer journeys with confidence. Also, DesertX Rally has gained 1 kg more in weight when compared with the standard version, reaching a kerb weight of 211 kg (without fuel).

Features Similar to Ducati DesertX

Though we have already discussed all the feature upgrades which buyers can find in the new version. There are still some unchanged specs which it shares with  standard DesertX. Both the variants offered under DesertX, are featured with 937cc L-twin engine, delivering 109 bhp and 92 Nm of torque, coupled with a responsive 6-speed gearbox.

Furthermore, the DesertX Rally has inherited the advanced electronics package and rider assists from its standard counterpart. These include traction control, multiple ride modes, ABS, and more, enhancing safety and control across diverse riding conditions.
