Recently, the Tata Punch facelift was spied testing for the very first time. The testing model was covered with camouflage, hiding its exterior designs. However, the spy shots also revealed some interesting upgrades in the exterior and interior. Let’s explore the expected features or improvements in the updated Tata Punch.
2025 Tata Punch Interior Features
The interior of the compact SUV’s facelifted version can feature a leatherette-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo in the center and mounted controls. It is similar to what was seen in the recently launched Altroz facelift. The Punch facelift will continue to get a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Some additional features like fabric seat upholstery, wireless charging pads, front center armrest, center console, and dashboard design will be unchanged.
Tata Punch Facelift Exterior Details
While the exterior of the Punch facelift test mule was covered with camouflage, it is expected to get some cosmetic upgrades. Its front fascia may feature subtle refinements, possibly borrowing design cues from Punch EV. However, the side and rear profiles, except lighting setup, will likely remain the same.
New Tata Punch Powertrain
The model is expected to retain the existing powertrain setup in the model. Tata’s sub-compact SUV comes mated with a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 86 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. It also gets a CNG version with a maximum power delivery of 73.4 bhp and 103 Nm of torque. Both engine options are available with a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Tata Punch Facelift Price
Considering the subtle enhancement across the interior and exterior with no changes in powertrain, the expected price of the Tata Punch facelift will likely remain in a similar range to existing models. The base variant of the Tata Punch SUV currently costs Rs 6 lakh, ex-showroom, while the top-spec trim is priced at Rs 10.32 lakh.
