Force Motors has increased the prices of its Gurkha SUV in May 2026. The price hike affects both the 3-Door and 5-Door models, making the off-roader costlier by up to Rs 35,646. The Gurkha competes with the Mahindra Thar and Maruti Suzuki Jimny in India's lifestyle off-roader segment. The Thar remains the segment leader, offered in both 3-Door and 5-Door (Thar Roxx) versions.

New Prices and Model Details
The Force Gurkha 3-Door now carries a price tag of Rs 16.31 lakh (ex-showroom). The 5-Door model is priced at Rs 17.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The 3-Door version is now more expensive by Rs 35,552, while the 5-Door version sees a hike of Rs 35,646. Both models do not have further variants, so all features come as standard equipment.
The Gurkha 3-Door offers a standard four-seater layout with two front doors and a tailgate. The 5-Door version includes four doors and a rear tailgate. Both models feature a Mercedes G-Class inspired design, circular LED headlights with daytime running lights, cornering lights, and 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres. A functional snorkel allows water wading up to 700 mm.
Features and Specifications

Inside, the Force Gurkha is equipped with a 9-inch infotainment screen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, dual front airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, manual air conditioning, rear AC vents with a dedicated blower, and captain seats. The SUV includes a shift-on-the-fly 4X4 system with locking front and rear differentials.
The Gurkha 5-Door measures 4,390 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 2,095 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2,825 mm. The SUV rides on 255/65-R18 tyres and offers a ground clearance of 233 mm. The approach angle is 39 degrees, rampover angle is 28 degrees, and departure angle is 37 degrees.
Both Gurkha models use a 2.6-litre Mercedes-derived FM 2.6 CR ED Turbo Diesel engine. This engine produces 138 bhp of peak power and 320 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is the only transmission option available.
