Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand VIDA has officially launched the Dirt-E K3 electric dirt bike in India. It's the first dedicated electric off-road motorcycle for children aged 4 to 10 years. Priced at an introductory Rs 69,990 (ex‑showroom) in India. This price will only be valid for the first 300 units. This size‑adaptive electric dirt bike is designed to grow with the child and make early off‑road riding safe, fun, and structured.
With adjustable ergonomics, three ride modes, parental controls via app, and a removable battery, Vida is targeting parents who want a safe, scalable platform for their kids to learn off‑road skills. Let’s take a closer look at the all-new VIDA Dirt-E K3 electric bike.

The Vida Dirt-E K3 is an electric dirt bike built specifically for kids, marking Vida’s entry into the youth off-road segment in India. It debuted globally at EICMA 2025 and is now being offered in India as a premium, size‑adaptive electric motorcycle for young riders.
Developed jointly by Hero’s Tech Centre in Germany and the Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur, the Dirt-E K3 is produced at Hero’s EV facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It’s positioned as a “first real dirt bike” for children, aligning with Hero MotoCorp’s motorsport involvement in events like the Dakar Rally.
The Dirt-E K3 has a classic mini dirt bike look with a raised beak, slim profile, and 16‑inch spoked wheels, giving it an authentic off‑road stance. It weighs just 22 kg, making it light enough for kids to handle and for parents to move around easily.
Its standout feature is the three‑stage adjustable chassis that lets the bike grow with the child. In Small mode, the seat height is 454 mm, while if you go for Medium, it’s 544 mm, and in Large, it reaches up to 631 mm, with corresponding changes in wheelbase and handlebar height.

The Dirt-E K3 is powered by a 350 W continuous, 500 W peak electric motor, paired with a 360 kWh removable lithium‑ion battery. This setup is tuned for short training sessions and introductory off‑road practice, not long rides.
It offers three ride modes:
These speed limits help kids progress safely from crawling to confident riding. The top speed is capped at 25 kmph, keeping it suitable for closed tracks, backyards, or dedicated riding zones.

The 360 kWh battery is fully removable and can be charged indoors at home, without needing a special charging setup. It takes about 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100%, and Vida claims up to 2–3 hours of riding time depending on terrain and mode used.
The battery has a sealed enclosure and a magnetic connector for easy, secure attachment, while also being protected against dust and moisture for all‑weather use. This makes it convenient and safe for daily use in Indian conditions.

Safety is a big focus on the Dirt-E K3, with features like a magnetic kill switch (lanyard) that cuts power if the rider falls off. There’s also a chest pad on the handlebar to cushion impacts and a rear motor cover to protect the drivetrain.
The bike comes with a single rear hydraulic disc brake as standard, designed to reduce front‑wheel washout and give predictable stopping. Removable footpegs let kids walk the bike when needed, and the brake lever is scaled for small hands.
The Vida Dirt-E K3 redefines kids' off-roading in India, blending safety, adjustability, and thrill for ages 4 to 10. With app controls and Hero's motorsport DNA. It's the perfect launchpad for future riders. Book now at Rs 69,990 and ignite young adventures.
