Hero Vida VX2 electric scooter now available at Rs 44,990 with BaaS
Hero MotoCorp has dropped the price of its Vida VX2 electric scooter to Rs 44,990 with a battery subscription plan, making electric mobility more accessible for Indian consumers and businesses.

Hero MotoCorp has once again come into the limelight by making a significant move in the electric two-wheeler market. The company has just revealed an introductory offer on its latest electric scooter, the Vida VX2. You can now buy your electric scooter for Rs 15,000 less than its original price. With this announcement, the electric two-wheeler market has been shaken up, as the pricing of the Vida VX2 was very competitive to begin with. However, as the prices are dropping for both variants and the BaaS variant, the scooter is now more affordable than its competitors.
With such a limited-time offer, the Vida VX2 Go variant will be available for now for as low as Rs 44,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This price will be the same when purchased with the innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. This aggressive pricing strategy is set to make electric mobility more accessible and appealing to tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
Hero Vida VX2 Sets New Benchmark for Electric Two-Wheelers in India
With the introduction of BaaS pricing, the Hero Vida VX2 sets a new benchmark for the electric two-wheeler in the market. This type of approach or proceeding reduces the actual purchase cost for customers. This introductory offer might prove to be the upper hand for Hero over its competitors that offer battery subscriptions.
As in the competitive market, where brand power shows more precision, Hero’s decision to reduce the Vida VX2 price by Rs 15,000 positions it as one of the most affordable and feature-rich electric scooters in India. The move is expected to increase competition among challenging rivals such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, and Ola S1.
