The Honda Click 125 uses a 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 11.2 HP and 11 Nm of peak torque. Its performance is similar to scooters such as the Hero Xoom 125. However, the Click 125 stands out with its liquid-cooled engine, while most 125cc scooters in India use air-cooled engines.

The scooter features 14-inch alloy wheels at both the front and rear. It offers a smart key system with keyless start and anti-theft functions. The Click 125 includes full LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster. Underseat storage measures 18 litres, providing ample space for daily use.

Dimensions, Pricing, and Market Context

The Click 125 has a fuel tank capacity of 5.5 litres and a kerb weight of 111 kg. Ground clearance is listed at 131mm, with some international specifications ranging up to 135mm. In the Philippines, the Click 125 retails for PHP 82,400, which is about Rs 1.28 lakh.

Despite the design patent, there is no confirmation of an Indian launch. Honda's previous patent filings have not always led to product introductions. The current registration appears to focus on protecting design rights rather than signaling an imminent release.

CarBike 360 Says

Honda patenting the Click 125 in India clearly signals its intent to keep the scooter portfolio fresh and youth-focused, even if an immediate launch is not guaranteed. If greenlit, the sporty 125cc scooter could bridge the gap between the Activa and more premium offerings, giving enthusiasts a sharper, feature-loaded alternative in the crowded 125cc segment.
