Honda Launched the New 2025 Version of Activa 125 - What's New?

Honda has officially launched the 2025 Activa 125 in India, with features such as a new TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, and six color options. This new version of Activa 125 is now OBD2B norms.

Honda has launched the 2025 version of one of the best-selling scooters in India - the Activa 125. This time this scooter is priced starting at Rs 94,422 (ex-showroom, Delhi). An upgraded 123.92cc single-cylinder PGM-Fi (programmed fuel injection) engine powers this 2025 version of the Activa 125 with a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, USB Type-C charging port, with six vibrant colour options. The all-new Activa 125 is compliant with the latest OBD2B norms which indicates the company’s effort to enhance customer satisfaction via engineering, advancements and modern technology.

During the launch event, Tsutsumu Otani, MD and CEO of Honda Motorcycles and Sooters India (HMSI), emphasised that this new version of the Activa 125 is loaded with features like navigation assistance and call & message alerts via the Honda RoadSync app.

Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, noted that the Activa 125 remains a favorite option among consumers in India, thanks to its modern features designed to meet contemporary rider expectations.

Talking about the power of the scooter, it generates 6.20 kW of power and 10.5 Nm of torque with its 123.92cc engine. Additionally, this engine is also equipped with an advanced idling stop system for better fuel efficiency.
In terms of looks and aesthetics, the Activa 125 retains its classic design but now comes with updated brown seats and contrasting inner panels. It is available in two variants: Activa 125 DLX priced at ₹94,422 and H-Smart at ₹97,146 (ex-showroom, Delhi), with color options including Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Siren Blue, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Precious White.

When we talk about the competition of this scooter in India, it will compete against TVS Jupiter 125, Suzuki Access 125, Yamaha Fascino 125,  and Hero Destini 125 - all are the top contenders in the 125cc scooter market in India.
