Honda has introduced three new color options for the 2026 MSX125 Grom mini bike in international markets. The model remains mechanically unchanged from the previous version. The new shades are Pearl Shining Black, Splendid Blue, and an HRC-inspired Gayety Red livery. This update follows the major redesign in 2025, when the Grom received new bodywork.

Key Highlights

  • Honda MSX125 Grom receives three new colour options for 2026
  • No mechanical changes with 125cc engine producing 9.6 HP and 10.4 Nm torque
  • Removable body panels allow customisation with stickers and wraps
  • Over 8.6 lakh units sold globally since 2012 with Thailand as the largest market

Design and Customisation

The 2026 Honda MSX125 Grom features removable body panels. Honda states that these panels allow owners to easily customize the bike with stickers, graphics, and wraps. The overall design remains compact, with a 1,200 mm wheelbase and a kerb weight of 103 kg.

Engine and Performance

The MSX125 Grom continues to use a 125cc, air-cooled, two-valve engine. This engine produces 9.65 HP at 7,250 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox. Honda claims the bike can reach a top speed of 94 km/h.

The suspension setup includes a 31mm upside-down fork at the front and a rear monoshock. The bike is equipped with a 6-litre fuel tank, which supports its lightweight and compact design.

Features and Equipment

The MSX125 Grom comes with a full LCD instrument cluster. The display includes a gear position indicator and a rev counter. LED lighting is provided at both the front and rear. These features aim to enhance the riding experience and provide clear information to the rider.

Global Sales and Market Presence

Honda launched the Grom globally in 2012. Since then, the company has sold over 8.6 lakh units worldwide. Thailand is the largest market for the Grom, with nearly 6.18 lakh units sold. The United States and Europe have also contributed significantly to its sales figures.

Despite its global popularity, the MSX125 Grom is not available in India. Honda has not introduced the model in the Indian market due to low demand for this type of motorcycle.
