Key Highlights:
Hyundai Motors India, the second largest car maker in the country has launched the Creta N-Line at a starting price of Rs 16.82 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Adding to its N-Line lineup in India, which presently consist of i20 N-Line and Venue N-Line, the Korean auto major has placed the Creta N-Line as the flagship model in its N-Line range.
Being a performance focused version of Creta, the Creta N-Line is a perfect option for those who want a more fun to drive mid size SUV. That's because, with every N-Line model, Hyundai re-tunes the steering and suspension setup of the vehicle to give the customers a more agile, sporty & connected driving feel.
Apart from this, there are a number of cosmetic changes and design updates in the new Creta N-Line. Let's take a look at all that the Hyundai Creta N-Line has to offer.
Compared to the normal Creta, the N-Line comes with a number of sporty cosmetic changes in the exterior. Some of these include a new wide black grille with N-Line logo, N-Line skid plates & bumpers, 18 inch diamond cut alloys with N-Line logo, and red brake calipers for front & rear disc brakes.
In the rear, the sporty design is enhanced by the spoiler and dual exhaust. It also comes with a red colour strip in the rear bumper and side skirtings, enhancing the sporty and dynamic look.
In order to match the sporty design elements in the exterior, the cabin of Creta N-Line comes in all black interiors with red colour inserts on the seats and dashboard. Moreover, the red ambient lighting and metal finish pedals give it a more sporty and premium feel.
Just like the regular Creta, the Creta N-Line too comes with features like a 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless phone charger, 10.25 inch customizable drivers display, front ventilated seats, voice controlled panoramic sunroof, electric parking brake with auto hold, drive modes with traction modes, front dual zone auto AC, 8 way power adjust driver seat, etc.
On the safety front, it comes with level 2 ADAS with 1 camera + 3 radar configuration, ESP, 6 airbags, traction control, highline TPMS, hill hold, dashcam with dual cameras, front & rear parking sensors, and 360 degree camera with rear blind view monitor.
It also comes equipped with 70+ advanced connected car features, Alexa home to car voice command support, smartwatch integration, 62 hinglish voice commands, 148 embedded voice commands, OTA update capability, etc.
Unlike the regular Creta which comes with 3 engine options, the Creta N-Line is only available with one engine i.e. the 1.5 litre T-GDi petrol which produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. On the transmission front, it can be paired with either a 6 speed manual or a 7 speed DCT automatic transmission. With this powertrain combination, the Creta N-Line can propel from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 8.9 seconds.
To further enhance the driving dynamics along with the ride & handling package of the Creta N-Line, Hyundai has re-tuned the steering and the suspension of the performance SUV, resulting in a more sporty, agile and confident inspiring driving experience.
To give the customers a wide range of choice, Hyundai will offer the Creta N-Line in 6 different colours. These include 2 single tone colours, 1 single tone colour in matte finish and 3 dual tone colours with black roof.
Moreover, customers can also choose from 2 variants i.e. N8 and N10. On the pricing front, the base N8 variant with 6 speed manual transmission starts at Rs 16.82 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Being a performance version of the Hyundai Creta, the main competitor of the Creta N-Line is Kia Seltos X-Line. However, other mid size SUVs like VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq too will give a tough competition to the Creta N-Line.
