Exterior and Design Features

The HX 10 stands out with its premium exterior setup. At the front, it features dual LED projector headlights and LED daytime running lights. The black grille, connected headlights, and new bumper design give the sedan a modern appearance. The HX 10 rides on 16-inch diamond-cut alloys for the naturally aspirated petrol version and 16-inch dark grey alloys for the turbo-petrol. Turbo variants also include red front brake calipers for a sporty look. Chrome door handles replace the body-coloured ones found on lower variants. At the rear, the HX 10 has LED tail lamps, a rear spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, and a connected lighting strip. The new bumper with a silver applique and Verna lettering further enhances its road presence.
Interior and Technology

Inside, the HX 10 offers the most luxurious cabin in the Verna lineup. The naturally aspirated petrol variant features a black-and-beige interior, while the turbo-petrol gets an all-black cabin with red accents. Leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, adjustable headrests, and a sliding front armrest are standard. Rear sunshades, multiple cup holders, and charging ports add to passenger comfort. The updated flat-bottom steering wheel features the new Morse code Hyundai logo. Soft-touch materials are used throughout the cabin.
The HX 10 includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (via adapter). An 8-speaker BOSE sound system enhances audio quality. The fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display adds a modern touch. Other features include a 4-way power-adjustable co-driver seat with electric boss mode, automatic climate control, electric sunroof, wireless phone charger, push-button start, cruise control, connected car technology, rain-sensing wipers, and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs.
Safety and Powertrain
The HX 10 is the only Verna variant with 7 airbags and a 360-degree camera. It also offers ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a dashcam, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Level-2 ADAS features are included, making it one of the few sedans in the segment with advanced driver assistance.
The HX 10 is available with both 1.5-litre naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engines. Only automatic transmission options are offered, including DCT and CVT. Manual transmission is not available for this variant.
The HX 10 is priced between Rs 17.15 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Main competitors include the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Honda City. The HX 10 provides more features than most rivals, justifying its premium price for buyers prioritizing advanced technology, comfort, and safety.
