iVOOMi Energy begins S1 e-scooter bookings 30th May, for Rs 749 after test ride

As stated by the electric vehicle maker, iVOOMi Jeet sales have already begun, while the test rides of the new iVOOMi S1 e-scooter will be available from 28th May 2022, and delivery will begin from June 2022.

Good news for e-scooter lovers! The Maharashtra-based electric two-wheeler maker iVOOMi Energy has announced that the bookings for its S1 e-scooter will open from 30th May 2022 and deliveries will start from June 2022.The S1 e-scooter price is Rs 84,999 and buyers can pre-book it for Rs 749 after a test ride, as stated by the company.

The e-scooter maker had launched the Jeet and S1 series electric two-wheelers in India around March 2022.

As per the electric vehicle maker, iVOOMi Jeet sales have already begun, while the test rides of the new S1 e-scooter will be available from 28th May 2022, and delivery will begin from June 2022.

According to Mr Sunil Bansal, the co-founder and MD of iVOOMi Energy, "We are sure the S1 will be revolutionary in the e-scooter category and we take this chance to showcase the performance of its solid electric motor, that offers superb efficiency and excellent riding experience."

Going by the company's PR release statement, powering the iVOOMi S1 is a 2kW electric motor that produces 50-54 kmph of max speed. It gets a 2kWh, 60V Li-ion cell pack that can be swapped. It gets fully charged in 3-4 hours and provides a total ride range of about 100 kms.

The sales point for the iVOOMi S1 e-scooter across India includes Adipur, Ahmednagar, Bhavnagar, Gondia, Kachh, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, and Surat in the starting phase, according to the company.
