Details about the Tata Sierra EV remain limited. However, it is likely to share key components with the Tata Curvv EV. The Sierra EV is expected to feature a 55 kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed range of around 500 km on a single charge. The electric motor will deliver 166 HP and 215 Nm of torque, matching the Curvv EV’s performance figures.

The Sierra EV is anticipated to include several advanced features. These may include Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), connected car technology, a powered driver’s seat with ventilation, an LED light package, dual-zone climate control, and a triple-screen layout for the dashboard. These features aim to enhance both safety and comfort for occupants.

Upcoming Launches and Market Position

The Sierra EV represents one of Tata’s major launches in the electric vehicle segment this year. In addition to the Sierra EV, Tata Motors will introduce its Avinya premium brand of vehicles. The Avinya brand will debut this year, with its first market launch scheduled for early 2027.

The first model under the Avinya brand will be a large SUV. This vehicle is expected to be priced between Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 50 lakh. The introduction of the Avinya brand signals Tata’s commitment to expanding its presence in the premium electric vehicle market in India.

Tata Motors continues to invest in electric mobility, aiming to offer a range of options for Indian consumers. The Sierra EV and the upcoming Avinya SUV will play key roles in Tata’s strategy to strengthen its position in the growing EV sector.
