New Landmark Edition Details

The Land Rover Discovery Landmark edition is positioned between the entry-level Discovery S and the flagship Tempest variant. It features exclusive styling elements and a more comprehensive equipment list. The Landmark edition debuts a new Tasman Blue metallic exterior color, inspired by an original Discovery paint finish from 1989. This color is available only on the Landmark variant.
Unique branding distinguishes the Landmark edition, with special badging on the tread plates, center console, B-pillar inserts, and puddle lamps. The exterior receives Graphite Atlas accents on the grille, side vents, and Discovery lettering, along with Carpathian Grey skid plates. The Landmark also comes with newly designed 21-inch alloy wheels in Dark Agate Grey.
Inside, the Landmark edition features Tech Velour trim on the dashboard and door panels, brushed aluminum inserts with Landmark branding, a sliding panoramic sunroof, and a center console refrigerator. These additions enhance the model's family-oriented appeal.
Tempest and Discovery S Updates
The Discovery Tempest remains the flagship variant and now offers an exclusive Borasco Grey exterior finish. All Tempest paint options now include a matte protective film as standard. Petra Copper exterior accents, exclusive branding, and 22-inch alloy wheels further distinguish the Tempest. Buyers can select from two new interior themes: light oyster or caraway upholstery, both paired with extended Windsor leather detailing.
The Discovery S continues as the entry-level model, focusing on everyday usability. Standard features include Duoleather upholstery, wireless smartphone charging, multiple USB charging ports, and several storage compartments to improve cabin practicality.
Accessory Packs and Mechanical Features

Land Rover continues to offer a range of optional accessory packs for the Discovery. These packs cater to different lifestyles, including pet owners, cyclists, beachgoers, long-distance travelers, and winter drivers. Accessories include roof-mounted carriers, cool bags, rubber mats, and load-space organizers.
The mechanical aspects of the Discovery remain unchanged for 2026. The SUV retains Terrain Response 2, All Terrain Progress Control, a maximum wading depth of 900 mm, and a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg with Advanced Tow Assist. Powertrain options include six-cylinder Ingenium engines, with D249 and D350 diesel variants and the P360 petrol engine, depending on the market.
New Driver Attention Monitor
For 2026, Land Rover introduces a Driver Attention Monitor. This system uses a driver-facing camera to detect signs of distraction and can issue both audio and visual alerts. Drivers can configure or disable the system through the vehicle's assistance settings.
Land Rover is not expected to launch the special edition Discovery in India, as the model is nearing the end of its lifecycle in that market.

The updates not only enhance its premium appeal but also reinforce its practicality for everyday and off-road use. This refresh ensures the Discovery remains a strong contender in the competitive luxury SUV segment.
