JK Fenner (India) Limited has named Jegapriyan Govindarajan as its new president, effective immediately. This leadership change comes as the company aims to expand its presence in electric vehicle (EV) components, digital technologies, and broader industrial applications.

Leadership Appointment and Experience
Govindarajan will be based in Chennai and will report directly to Vikrampati Singhania, vice chairman and managing director of JK Fenner. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the automotive and industrial sectors. Before joining JK Fenner, Govindarajan served as managing director and general manager for India at Garrett Motion Technologies India. He has also held leadership roles at Tecumseh Products Company and Valeo Lighting Systems India.
Govindarajan holds a mechanical engineering degree from Madurai Kamaraj University. He also earned a postgraduate diploma in business management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Vikrampati Singhania expressed confidence in Govindarajan's ability to guide JK Fenner towards new growth opportunities.
JK Fenner’s Operations and Expansion Plans
JK Fenner operates nine manufacturing facilities and four research and development centers across India. The company’s product range includes oil seals, hoses, gearboxes, geared motors, pulleys, front-end accessory drive systems, belt tensioners, and molded rubber products. These products serve a variety of sectors, including automotive, agriculture, power, steel, cement, and textiles.
The company is actively expanding its portfolio to address new opportunities in the electric vehicle ecosystem. JK Fenner is also increasing its focus on digital technologies and sustainability initiatives. This strategic direction aims to position the company for growth in emerging markets and evolving industry needs.
