Kia has launched the Model Year 2026 (MY2026) Sonet in India, with prices starting at Rs. 8.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The refreshed Sonet brings new variants, updated colours, and minor exterior design changes to the compact SUV segment.

Variants and Colour Options
The updated Kia Sonet is now available in seven variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTK EX, HTK+, HTK+ (O), HTX, and HTX (O). Customers can choose from nine colour options, including Ivory Silver Matte, Magma Red, Ivory Silver Gloss, Gravity Grey, Frost Blue, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Aurora Black Pearl, and Glacier White Pearl. These choices offer buyers a wider selection to match their preferences.
Key Features by Variant

The MY2026 Sonet introduces several new and revised features across its variants. The exterior now includes a side door garnish with body-coloured accents and glossy black front and rear skid plates with body-coloured aero inserts. The front hood garnish and outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) also receive a glossy black finish. LED fog lights and a high-mounted stop lamp enhance visibility and safety.
Inside, the Sonet offers a black and grey interior theme with matte orange accents on select variants. The dashboard features a 12-inch LCD instrument cluster paired with a 4.2-inch multi-information display (MID). The centre console includes an armrest and cupholders for added comfort.
Other notable features include LED daytime running lights (DRLs) with integrated turn indicators and a reverse parking camera with dynamic guidelines. Some variants offer a Cloud Blue and Grey interior theme with mint green accents, 60:40 split rear seats with recline function, and a rear centre armrest with cupholders and adjustable headrests.
The driver’s seat provides a one-touch up-down window function, and the centre console in manual transmission variants includes an armrest and cupholders. Higher variants feature a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, as well as a driver door window up/down function via smart key. The interior also offers a grey theme with matte orange accents and an eight-speaker Harman Kardon music system for enhanced audio quality.
