Kinetic Green’s E-Luna: Launching a Long-Range Variant with 250 km Range

​Kinetic Green plans to add an exciting new E-Luna moped model to its collection of electric two-wheelers. After bringing back the legendary Luna in its electric form earlier this year, the firm now intends to launch a long-range model with a 4.3 kWh battery that can go an amazing 250 kilometers between charges.

Exceptional Range and Pricing 

The range of this long-range E-Luna model is almost double that of the majority of electric scooters available on the market. It is priced at ₹70,000 (ex-showroom) and is made to serve a wider range of customers, such as delivery services and companies. In a social media post, Kinetic Green's CEO and founder, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, reaffirmed the information and emphasized its marketability.

Key Features

The E-Luna stands out with its lightweight dual-tubular steel chassis, offering a robust payload capacity of 150 kg. It comes equipped with modern features, such as:

• Fully digital LCD instrument console
• Side-stand sensor for added safety
• USB charging port
• Bag hooks for convenience
• Detachable rear seat to enhance everyday utility

Battery Options and Availability

The E-Luna currently offers three battery options:

• 1.7 kWh
• 2 kWh
• 2.3 kWh

According to sources, the long-range model with the 4.3 kWh battery will go on sale in January 2025. A prominent e-commerce business has already expressed interest in this new version, placing an initial purchase of 10,000 units with a bigger commitment of 1 lakh units.

To appeal to a wide audience, the E-Luna is available in five vibrant colors:

• Mulberry Red
• Ocean Blue
• Pearl Yellow
• Sparkling Green
• Night Star Black
