Key Highlights

  • Multiple financing options for Kinetic electric scooters
  • EMI and digital payments at authorized dealerships
  • Partnerships with Hero FinCorp, Bajaj Finserv, CleverPe
  • Aimed at improving EV affordability and adoption

The partnership was strategically rolled out to boost the sales of Kinetic’s DX and DX+ electric scooters. Consumers are able to avail different payment options which include standard EMI-based loans as well as faster digital payment solutions via authorized Kinetic EV dealership. According to the company, convenient financing options play a crucial role to accelerate Two-Wheeler adoption, especially for first time buyers who don't want to pay high upfront cost. With this collaboration Kinetic is gearing up to improve its presence in the Electric Scooter space.

Hero FinCorp and Bajaj Finserv will bring large-scale reach and reliable credit expertise, providing Kinetic better reach to the customers across different parts of the country. While CleverPe, will focus on easy and quick approvals with paper-light processes, appealing to younger and digitally savvy urban riders. Commenting on the development, Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kinetic Watts & Volts, said the company wants to give customers confidence while buying an electric scooter. He added that having trusted finance partners plays a key role in building that confidence.

Kinetic Strengthens EV Push

Brands DX range marks the return of its well-known scooter name in an all-electric form. The scooters use an LFP-based battery setup, which is designed with everyday city use and safety in mind. Founded in 2022, Kinetic Watts & Volts identifies itself as a Made-in-India EV brand that operates a modern manufacturing plant with automated systems. With increasing competition in the electric scooter market this partnership will help Kinetic to broaden its plan to scale up production, sales and registrations and establish its name in this space.

Verdict

This financing move is a smart and timely step by Kinetic as affordability remains a key hurdle in EV adoption. By combining trusted lenders with a digital-first platform, the brand strengthens buyer confidence and widens its reach. If executed well at the dealer level, this strategy can significantly improve Kinetic’s visibility and competitiveness in India’s crowded electric scooter market.
