Kinetic Watts & Volts, the electric vehicle subsidiary of Kinetic Engineering Limited (KEL), has taken a major step in India’s electric mobility. The brand today announced its quarterly results after the board meeting, along with strong deliveries of its flagship electric scooter, the Kinetic DX. Within just six months of launch, KEL is scaling up aggressively with new dealerships and ambitious sales targets in 2025.
The company’s strategic focus on expanding its dealer network nationwide, backed by an investment of Rs 9 crores to increase KEL’s shareholding to 80%. As the first showroom opened recently in Pune, KWV plans to rev up production to meet growing demand with a goal of 5,000 units sold by March 2026. This momentum highlights the shift towards sustainable, convenient, and tech-forward daily commutes powered by Indian engineering excellence.
Kinetic Watts & Volts has issued over 50 Letters of Intent (LOIs) from prime cities across northern and western India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Surat, Hyderabad, and more. These dealer appointments underscore its market strategy to rapidly meet consumer demand through a robust distribution network that will grow to 200 dealerships in India by fiscal year 2026-27. Early sales projections set a target of 60,000 units for the 2025-26 fiscal year alone, contributing an estimated Rs 600 crore to the company’s consolidated revenue.
The strong bookings and showroom launches reflect the growing Indian consumer preference for electric scooters that combine convenience with value. Kinetic DX stands out with segment-leading features such as Easy Key, Easy Charge, and Easy Flip, alongside a durable metal body, low maintenance needs, and a class-leading 37-liter storage capacity. This upcoming electric scooter is making an attractive, practical choice for Indian families looking to adopt sustainable transportation. Deliveries are set to begin at the end of November 2025, marking a key milestone for the brand’s electric portfolio.
Kinetic Watts & Volts’s electric mobility ambitions lie in the manufacturing power of Kinetic Engineering Limited. KEL, a veteran in India’s automotive sector for over five decades, recently enhanced its production capabilities by inaugurating a state-of-the-art robotic chassis line, a revamped paint shop, and metal pressing facilities. These upgrades enable superior quality and throughput, with chassis production already underway for both the E-Luna and Kinetic DX EV models.
Kinetic’s strong backward integration within its electric vehicle ecosystem not only supports product reliability but also positions the group favorably to expand its B2B component supply business, with ongoing discussions indicating further growth potential.

Speaking about the event, Mr. Ajinkya Firodia, VC, Kinetic India, said, “This quarter marks a significant step forward in our journey. The response to KWV has been exceptional, with bookings far exceeding projections. The Kinetic DX is quickly emerging as a preferable choice for Indian families, offering convenience features like Easy Key, Easy Charge, and Easy Flip.”
As KWV accelerates its deliveries and dealer network expansion, it exemplifies India’s EV industry evolution while fulfilling the growing demand for practical, affordable, and eco-friendly mobility solutions. With strong financial backing and a clear path to scale, Kinetic Watts & Volts is poised to be a prominent player in shaping the future of electric two-wheelers in India.
