KTM has introduced the 2024 edition of the 390 Duke in India. Priced at ₹3.11 lakh (ex-showroom), it's now available for bookings on the official website for a token amount of ₹4,499. Expect deliveries to commence just in time for the festive season.
Upgrades Galore:
The new 390 Duke comes with a range of enhancements, including a revamped engine and suspension setup. It sports a brand-new steel trellis frame and sub-frame made from pressure die-cast aluminium. Additionally, a curved swingarm adds to its appeal. The bike offers two striking colour options - Atlantic Blue and Electronic Orange Metallic.
Powerful Performance:
The highlight of the 2024 KTM 390 Duke is its beefed-up engine, now boasting a capacity of 398 cc. This powerhouse churns out a whopping 44.25 bhp of power and 39 Nm of torque, all managed by a reliable 6-speed gearbox.
Muscular Makeover:
Compared to its predecessor, the new 390 Duke showcases a more robust design. Notable changes include prominent tank extensions, an updated headlamp, and a larger Daytime Running Lamp.
Redesigned Rear and Seating:
The rear of the bike has undergone significant changes, featuring a fresh split seat setup. The exhaust has been repositioned under the belly, and the mono-shock now sits in an offset position.
Improved Braking and Wheels:
The 2024 390 Duke borrows its braking hardware from the RC 390, boasting lighter rotors. The front disc measures 320 mm, while the rear is 240 mm. The alloy wheels are not only lighter but also sport fewer spokes, taking a cue from the RC 390.
Feature-Rich Experience:
KTM has integrated a 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, enabling music control, incoming calls, and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike is packed with an array of features including launch control, riding modes, Track Mode, SuperMoto ABS, Quickshifter, self-cancelling indicators, cruise control, and a speed limiter function.
With these updates, the 2024 390 Duke promises an exciting and powerful ride for motorcycle enthusiasts.
