Recently, KTM revealed two new motorcycles in its adventure and off-roading lineup in India Bike Week, Goa. Now, the company has begun unofficial bookings for these bikes, the 390 Enduro R and 390 Adventure S at several dealerships across India. However, these are not official bookings but depending upon how well they are received, KTM may introduce additional variants in the future. Moreover, the official launch of these motorcycles in India is in January 2025.
The 390 Adventure S features a wheel setup of 21 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear, making it suitable for riders who enjoy adventure rides and long journeys. In contrast, the 390 Enduro R is a dirt bike designed specifically for serious off-road enthusiasts. Interestingly, KTM has yet to announce the 390 Adventure X for the Indian market, which is more accessible due to its lower seat height and alloy wheels, but this is expected to happen in the next few months.
The expected pricing for the KTM 390 Adventure S is around ₹3.8 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Enduro 390 R is expected to be priced at around ₹3.3 lakh (ex-showroom). The 390 Adventure S will compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, while the 390 Enduro R will fight against the BMW G 310 GS and Suzuki V-Strom SX.
