KYT has launched the R1R race helmet in India, expanding its racing helmet lineup. The R1R is a full-face helmet developed with input from KYT’s MotoGP race program. It meets both ECE 22.06 and ISI safety standards, ensuring high levels of protection for riders.

Key Features and Construction
The KYT R1R is designed in Italy and has undergone extensive wind tunnel and real-world testing. This process optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and stability at high speeds. The helmet uses a tri-composite shell made from carbon fibre, aramid fibre, and fiberglass. It also includes a multi-density EPS liner to enhance impact absorption.
The R1R is available in three shell sizes: small, medium, and large. The medium size weighs 1,550 grams. The helmet features an integrated rear spoiler and multiple air intake and exhaust vents. These elements help maintain stability and improve ventilation during use.
Safety and Comfort
The R1R meets the latest ECE 22.06 certification and complies with ISI standards. These certifications confirm that the helmet provides advanced safety for both track and road use. The helmet includes Hydrocool inner liners, which help manage heat and moisture for improved comfort.
