Mahindra & Mahindra has teamed up with Adani Group's Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) to establish electric vehicle charging infrastructure nationwide, as announced by the companies on Thursday.
The partnership aims to introduce e-mobility solutions that streamline access to the charging network for customers, covering aspects such as discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions.
As a result of this collaboration, owners of the XUV400 will gain access to over 1100 chargers through the Bluesense App, significantly enhancing the convenience and accessibility of electric vehicle charging for Mahindra EV owners.
Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd, highlighted the significance of this alliance in bolstering EV charging infrastructure. He emphasised the aim to provide seamless access to the charging network and digital integration to offer an unparalleled EV experience. Nakra further stated the commitment to expanding the EV ecosystem by partnering with multiple entities to promote electric vehicle adoption.
In alignment with commitments made at COP26, the companies underscored that this partnership represents a collective effort towards decarbonizing transportation and transitioning to an electric and sustainable future.
Suresh P Manglani, Executive Director & CEO of Adani Total Gas Ltd, emphasized that such collaborations will instill confidence in customers to embrace EV technology as part of the broader energy transition. Together, these steps contribute to reducing carbon emissions and assist India in achieving its climate action objectives.
