Currently Mahindra is expanding in India at a great pace with growing monthly sales and immense bookings on different models. As of now Mahindra has only one electric SUV in its lineup and they have showcased around five. Out of five there only two electric vehicles have been confirmed that are close to launch: Be.05 and XUV.e9.

Mahindra BE.05: A Sneak Peek
The new Mahindra BE.05 has recently been spotted in its production-ready form during an advertisement shoot, signalling that its launch is imminent. The BE.05 retains many design elements from its concept car, showcasing features such as:
- C-shaped LED DRLs
- Aero-spec dual-tone alloy wheels
- Sloping roofline
- Glossy black body cladding
- Full-length LED light bar on the tailgate
- New Mahindra twin peaks logo
- Chunky rear diffuser
Notable minor adjustments include the addition of conventional ORVMs and the repositioning of the flush-fitting door handles.
Interior Features
The interior of the 2025 Mahindra BE.05 promises to impress with:
- A new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel featuring a backlit BE logo
- Dual digital screens for the driver’s display and infotainment system
- Airplane-inspired gear lever
- A centre console equipped with a drive mode selector, front armrest, engine start-stop button, and cup holders
- Additional features may include a heads-up display and a Level 2 Advanced Driver
- Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
Performance Expectations
Underpinned by Mahindra's new INGLO platform, the BE.05 is anticipated to be powered by a 60kWh battery pack paired with two electric motors. It is expected to deliver a claimed range of up to 500 km on a single full charge.
