Mahindra Thar Roxx Bookings Open at Rs. 21,000

Mahindra has officially set the booking amount for the Thar Roxx at ₹21,000. Online bookings will open on October 3, 2024, at 11 am. This follows the price announcement made by Mahindra on Independence Day. 

Test Drives and Delivery Schedule

Test drives have already been started on September 14, to give all customers a first hand experience of this new SUV. Customers can expect its delivery till late October. Although few dealers have given a hint that it can start from Dussehra itself on October 12. 

Engine and Powertrain Options

The Mahindra Thar Roxx shares its engines with the 3-door Thar and the Scorpio-N but features different tuning. Customers can choose between a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both engines come with manual and automatic transmission options, although only the diesel variants offer the optional 4x4 technology.

Thar Roxx Variants and Pricing

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in six variants: MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L. Prices range from ₹12.99 lakh for the base model to ₹20.49 lakh for the top-end variant.
For those interested in the 4x4 versions, prices are set between ₹18.79 lakh and ₹22.49 lakh. The 4x4 variants include the MX5 (manual gearbox), AX5L (automatic gearbox), and AX7L (both manual and automatic options).
